Heard a few things lately about how we have choices in life. One main one is when we get kicked down, knocked down, beat down by life's events - we can stay down or we can get up. One other one - an oldie for me that I have reminded myself and my basketball teams in the past & present, is that you didn't wake up today to be average. I think so many times we wake up and our minds start setting the tone for the day and we need to set the tone that we have great opportunities to do fantastic things. Just a little reminder for all of us - especially me. Side note - I'm putting this show together after our first loss of the season last night - we had our chances, but we came up a little bit short. Doesn't make us average at all that we lost - we need to take the lessons from this game and become better. We are going to choose not to let this loss define our season, but to make changes, get tighter together as a team & figure out a way to beat GPS at their place in a few weeks.
