With the 2018 Open Championship being played at Carnoustie in Scotland, it is bringing up an important history lessons that happened in 1999. Jan van de Velde from France was a big part of that memory / lesson with his epic collapse in the final round of this tournament. Check out this video on exactly how things went down 19 years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV8Qj91T3o0 It is so intriguing to watch and learn how he responded to his loss. The lessons are so valuable. Summer time also is when there Wimbledon tennis - a fantastic & historical tournament with players in it from so many different countries. This summer is also an every 4 year tradition of the World Cup Soccer tournament - with again, more great lessons & the kind of drama that I really love. Just think - even if you don't like these sports or any sport for that matter - the lessons can still be used for all of life. If you were to work as hard like so many of these athletes do; on things that you want to do, things you love to do in life, things that fire you up - that same dedication and effort and can help make such a difference in your life.
