An ambassador has been defined as someone who lives in one country while representing another. Their real home and citizenship are elsewhere, but task calls them to live abroad representing a different government. The Bible calls us ambassadors. Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians that we are ambassadors for Christ. Our home is here, but it is also there. Our mission is here, but our orders come from another place. We have a mission and a purpose. We are ambassadors for Christ and His kingdom.
