Hello, I am Joshua P. Warren, and this is Joshua P. Warren Daily. I want to give you a quick update so you'll know I'm not dead. I tell you, Puerto Rico has been kicking my ass over the past few days. We're in the middle of a blackout here. Cell service is very wishy-washy, so I'm having trouble communicating. I'm about to drive to another town to see if I can get some stuff done. Also, as you may or may not know, I was unable to do my webinar on Sunday, and uh that's because I uh I heard that there were a lot of bugs around here since the hurricane, and sanitation was down for months and all that, and still isn't back up to par. A lot of people don't even have clean water in some places. I went swimming. Uh I was told to avoid the water, but I did anyway. On Saturday, the night before, even though it was St. Patrick's Day, I was like, I'm gonna be a good boy, I'm not gonna go out and party. I went and got my haircut for the webinar. I went to bed at nine o'clock and uh woke up in the middle of the night feeling kind of unpleasant. And so I got up and um I ate a little bit and I went back to bed, and then I woke up the next morning, and man, I woke up throwing up. So something hit me hard, and uh it was it was unpleasant. Um I'm not gonna go into the details, but I realized after uh a couple hours of that, like there's no way that I can sit here and do this webinar. Um physically impossible. I actually thought I might die, but there wasn't anything I could do about it because I wasn't gonna go to the hospital here in Puerto Rico because I don't know what that experience is gonna be like or what else I'd be getting exposed to. So I would say that Sunday was possibly the worst day of my life. It was definitely one of the worst days of my life. I was just bedridden with whatever had hit me. And so uh I just stayed in bed for um for days, and uh today I'm finally starting to feel like myself again, so thank God it was just something in passing, I guess. But now I'm way behind on things, and it doesn't help me out here that uh you know the power's out. As you know, I have generators, but like I've told you before, it doesn't matter when you're here, because even if you have a generator, you've got to be very resourceful because you don't know for sure if you might be out of power for weeks or months here. So if your generator runs out, you might not be able to get more fuel, or even if you're using something like a sunshine simple, of course, you know you gotta charge it during the day. So um it's a little different situation when you're out here on an island like this that is um having so many problems. And by the way, the company uh or one of the companies that's doing a lot of the power grid restoration has been threatening to pull out altogether until they get some more money. And so that's why I say you never know when this happens if it's possible that you could be out of power for for maybe for good. So anyway, um, but I want to apologize to any of you who uh were going to join that webinar um to see me, but I want to sincerely thank Brad Johnson who produced that webinar because uh thank God he is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, and he was able to step in and deliver a presentation that everybody said was fantastic. So I have no doubt that everybody was happy. Uh if there is an opportunity to reschedule that webinar at some point with with Brad, uh I will certainly do that. But uh, you know, it's just one of those things. Uh I being here in Puerto Rico um at this time is is risky business. And you know, I have uh I have a lot of things working for me, and trust me, I use uh I take advantage of wishing machines and magic wands and prayers from friends and all that, um, which is getting me through uh some of these tough times. But uh you gotta sort of be understanding of uh these situations when I'm sort of out of communication for a while until I get back to the States. And I'm very, very close to that. Uh all I've been doing here mainly uh since we've been back is working with Lauren to pack and ship things, and it's you don't realize how much equipment and how much stuff you have until you start packing it up. But uh hopefully we'll be back in the States here very soon. So I'll try to give you a more thorough update here uh maybe tomorrow. Uh hopefully, you know, that this will just be a short power outage, but uh at least you know what's going on. So thank you again for your understanding. Thank you for all the prayers I received when uh I was under the weather, but uh hanging in there and pulling through. All right. Thanks for uh staying curious, and I'll talk to you again soon.
