Show Notes

Knowing when we are naturally most active as unique individuals helps to ensure that we can maximize the time we do spend each day in a mode of high-quality productivity. We all have times we find ourselves working more efficiently and able to commit to doing the tasks that need done no matter the environmental factors at play. Building routines around these times that we can easily fall into with consistency is key to being successful in those commitments with the least amount of time wasted doing activities we are later not so proud of letting take up our precious time.

Think of your time as a chess clock: it can be spent clicked to one side-in the green focused on being productive, or it is spent clicked to the other side-distracted in the red zone. Regardless of which side though, the same amount of time will pass. It is up to you to take control of which side you choose to operate from. What if you could track the effort you put in daily? Will it be from the red or the green? What if you adjusted the hours that you work to reflect those times you are able to pump out the most results with the least amount of effort and time spent? What if you had the time to be present where you are actually present?

Utilize your time to focus on doing the things you desire to do rather than doing the things that can wait until another time or day. Respecting your own personal time has to happen first if you want others to respect your time as well. You have to be in control of your time and schedule if you don't want to end up exhausted by other people whose time has no set boundaries. Making routines you are proud to commit to will save you from burnout by also incorporating ME time within your schedule for yourself to simply be happy in. You also have to be able to be open to the fact that adaptation of these routines is necessary as you grow and change in life.

Find a routine that works for you. Create a schedule you proudly commit to. Get after it by spending the most of your time doing the things you enjoy best.
