Listen in as Derek tells the story of how he got his first solo show and sold his first prints as a senior in college in Louisiana, what it’s really like to be a photo editor, and how he was able to pursue photography and develop a successful career as a photographer in New York City.

Plus, he shares the awe-some stories of photographing Alan Rickman and DMX before they passed.
