What's your story?In this podcast Alex Iantaffi, author of "How to Understand Your Gender: a practical guide for exploring who you are" will reflect on how gender impacts different areas of our lives, such as relationships, spirituality, parenting and more. They will have guests to explore these topics as well as reflect on their own experiences as a therapist, writer, educator and trans masculine, non-binary person (don't worry if you don't know what that means, there will be a podcast episode about terminology!). Alex Iantaffi interviews CN Lester, a writer, musician, academic, and leading LGBTI activist. CN is the co-founder of the UK's first national queer youth organisation, they curate the trans art event Transpose for the Barbican, and work internationally as a trans and feminist educator and speaker. Their work has featured on BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, SBS, The Guardian, ABC, The Independent, Newsnight, and at Sydney Opera House. Alex and CN talk about 17th century composer Barbara Strozzi, gender and CN's internationally acclaimed book "Trans Like Me".
