Melissa found her direction as a fashion photographer in a Paris museum at a Helmut Newton exhibition. Returning home to LA and borrowed her dad's Canon AE-1 and the rest is rock & roll history. Oh, wait did I mention, Melissa partied with Led Zeppelin and Van Halen and those times influenced her imagery, lifestyle, and creative vision.
Fast forward a few years to find Melissa involved heavily in the educational world with BREED and the creator/editor of the highly acclaimed ALICE magazine in New York.
Melissa's best advice for young photographers... LEARN LIGHTING FIRST!
