Dianna is delighted to welcome via phone on Beach Corner legendary American pop rock musician, singer/songwriter, record producer and author of “Me, the Mob and The Music” co-written with Martin Fitzpatrick and widely known as the leader of the 1960’s rock band “Tommy James and The Shondells”, Tommy James.
Tommy was awarded the 2019 New York Jukebox Artist of the Year, The Pittsburgh Legend Award and inducted into the Prestigious New Jersey Hall of Fame where a hologram can be viewed at Neward Airport.
A new CD was released this year titled “Alive” with special guests such as Gene Cornish, The Rascals, Stevie Van Zandt and Tone-Z. He also re-released his Christmas album “I love Christmas” with the track “It’s Christmas Again”.
His acclaimed autobiography “Me, the Mob and The Music” co-written with Martin Fitzpatrick is based on Tommy’s years at Roulette Records and his complex and sometime terrifying relationship with the “Godfather” of the music industry, Morris Levy, is currently in development for a major motion picture with film producer, Barbara De Fina, whose credits include “Goodfellas”, “Casino”, “Age of Innocence” to name a few.
Apart from his musical career, Tommy host a successful weekly radio show “Getting Together with Tommy James” on Sirius XM radio every Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the sixties on six channel.
