If you had a movie that took, like Scott back Ula from Lord of Illusions and put him up against pinhead in a movie that would be insane. Correct.
spk_1:
00:11
Open a coal box of wine. Opal something cold on eyes because it's the binge watches and yeah,
spk_0:
00:42
ah, Dave and old Johnny Spoiler here. We're gonna do this whole magical special Halloween episode tonight and then California is shutting off like half the state's power. So and I go like I was I was texting, actually, Nick and Dave the day thinking like, Hey, guys, is California really hell, Because every day there's a fire in somebody's backyard on the freeways or the people's power when Ah,
spk_2:
01:09
yeah, it's completely. It's so windy out there now it
spk_0:
01:12
makes no sense. And then, like their strategy of, like, the state's plan of like, let's cut everybody's power to their houses to prevent forest fires. And now I remember reading the last big forest fire was some drunk who crashed into something and started a fire. So so like our
spk_2:
01:31
candles, Right. Using candles to light your house, I'm going t o y'all need power and there are big light. Oh
spk_0:
01:42
yeah, I could see somebody like knocking over a bunch of candles and the whole apartment building goes up right. And then you just have another fire,
spk_2:
01:49
Billy. Good job. Good job.
spk_0:
01:52
Has something that makes no sense in the meantime than Nick sends me a picture of what looks to be a nice frozen pizza he's about to consume. And then he pops up to the dark side on his television
spk_2:
02:06
posting this if you go to the Facebook page on Binge watchers all posted on agent thing tonight. Nice microwave pizza and tales from the dark Side, the 1990 classic. Because
spk_0:
02:16
it is
spk_2:
02:17
wholly you gotta watch.
spk_0:
02:18
Yeah, totally. We were actually gonna pick, like, what are our top films that to be has right now? Because there's this app ladies gentlemen called B T u b R b television to be dot tv. And they have a bunch of movies, much of classics. And, like, half the movies were watching over the summer time. We did this whole thing, Summer slash, like most of them was the things we were picking were on there like maniac 1980. Yeah, Freaking Ah, Return of the living deads on the right now I'm like, That's That's one of my favorite Alzheimer's. It's on there. No, no,
spk_2:
02:49
that's great. Yeah,
spk_0:
02:50
Yeah, You could just jump in.
spk_2:
02:51
Well, you know what? You know what I like. So you know what happened? My tails on the dark side, right? I mean, now, I don't know of a lot of people know this, but tells him that you're you're on the three movie page. Like part three is right. Tales from the dark, Dark Side was originally gonna be creepshow three. What? So to keep Dino that
spk_0:
03:09
I never want to know if
spk_2:
03:11
you watch it again. It was almost set up to be creepshow parts for even then they went to tales from the dark side, like George Romero worked on it. He wrote one of the pieces,
spk_0:
03:21
so a lot
spk_2:
03:21
of the same crew worked on it. So it actually is really so technically could be one of your three B's. Just give it. Throw that out there. If you keep it with the three
spk_0:
03:31
of you know, that's That's pretty awesome. We were running. He's Nick's right. We're running this serious miniseries called What The Horror And they were All the second sequel, if you will, which would technically be apart three of something And, um, we just wrapped it up. I think we just did. Ah, Hell. Raiser three. And before that, we did like Texas Chainsaw three and couple of other threes. And, you know, people ask this. Well, what about Nightmare three? And I'm like, Well, we were actually going to cap it off, Maybe with nightmares. Three. But then I was like, Everybody talks about nightmare dream warriors, like everyone talks about that.
spk_2:
04:01
Oh, yeah, I
spk_0:
04:01
was like, Let's try to find Part Three is that maybe people haven't talked about in a while and start another conversation about it, You know what I mean? But
spk_2:
04:08
for sure,
spk_0:
04:09
dude, I was reading about the connection between the Hellraiser stories, Andy Man and Lord of Illusions. Like, I didn't realize that Clive Barker also wrote Candyman is a story and then, like they adapted it into a movie. And candy man exists in the same room because in the books, he's not even in the Hellraiser books. He's not even I think it's called, like the bleeding heart or something, or like the heart that bleeds like I looked it up the other day, but like help, Pinhead doesn't even have a Yeah, the hell bound heart. You're right. That's exactly what the hell Bone Heart. Hello. Hel the pinhead guy. He just called the hell priest. But he also encounters the There's a detective in Lord of Illusions. And in this world, in Lord of Illusions, all magic is real. Like all black magic is real, right? There's like a detective that knows about it, and his buddy magician gets killed. Remember that movie where there's like, there's like a colt in the desert doing about two crazy black man?
spk_2:
05:01
The character's name is Harry Do Mama
spk_0:
05:04
or whatever. Yeah, New Orleans or something in the books and like But then, like Clive Barker wrote a sequel to the hell bound heart called Scarlet Scarlet Gospels and that has the Detective Lord of Illusions going up against pinhead essentially, because pinheads going around killing over edition. Yeah, Pinhead thinks that if he goes and gets magic from all these magic users, these magicians in the world or whatever, which is the detective's friends with all these magic users, right that he will have enough power to go and steal the armour that Lucifer uses or something And, like, take over hell. So, like what? Dude, if you had a movie that took, like, Scott back Ula from Lord of Illusions and put him up against pinhead in a movie, that would be insane. Well,
spk_2:
05:51
you know, there's still no Bradley still lives. Got back. It was on that, uh, Thigh New Orleans. Both do it.
spk_0:
05:58
Tina Scott Dracula still has enough fight left in him to be in the movie. I don't I don't know if the elder statesman, you know, Doug gladly is like he's getting up there in age because he's from the same generation as you know. Ah, Donald Pleasant. See, Corinne Loomis are Oh, really? Yeah. Doug Bradley sees freakin he's getting up there. You know what I mean? So, yeah, I think that's one of the reasons they have had a younger pinhead and the crappy Sequels. But what you gonna do? This'll voice on the other end with me right now. This is Nicky Tea. We also call him Nikki late because he's laid all the time. And it isn't the way we haven't heard from this guy in months. Where's Nikki? Where's Nicki? I don't know. He's sending me pictures of pizza and e I think
spk_2:
06:45
I got from Canada Is still is still looking for me. Yeah, I moved
spk_0:
06:51
like we had, like, Okay, we're talking about like fans like Canada. Still listening. Now we got Germany and Italy. Italy is going crazy over the war movie episodes that we've been doing lately. Um, and Japan's way got we got London. And as far as countries goes, we got Germany, Italy and Japan and ah, and parts of the UK And they're totally there there rock and binge watchers like, pretty much every day these days. Then I saw we were we were on Spotify were on the Spotify charts and Honduras of all places like, Oh, we've hit Latin America and, you know, and like, you know, And then I saw, like, we're tops and New Zealand and freakin you know, some of the like, other other countries in the UK and stuff. And I'm like, damn,
spk_2:
07:32
you know, I've always wanted to go to New Zealand. So any listeners,
spk_0:
07:35
you know, you
spk_2:
07:35
want to do a show in, you're out. Yeah, you know, you just room and board will stop on by,
spk_0:
07:42
um, let's see. So we're eternal living dead. If they based a movie on what if the stuff and not a living dead of Israel. So all the characters in that movie encounter the dead that are locked away from the original night of the living dead. Like there's a body left over or something. And then the guy start messing with it. They let out this toxic gas. It infects the cemetery next door to this medical supply warehouse where they're keeping the body in cold storage. So two bumbling guys what they're like, left that thing
spk_2:
08:13
out there pretty really pretty ridiculous.
spk_0:
08:15
Yeah. Yeah. And so, um, once that happens, it's like some punk teenagers air that our party in there They're all kind of like, just trying to survive the night. And and actually, the best review of this movie of all time was what, David last year, Like Like I'm not going to do it. Any credit tonight? Oh, you have to go back. You and I
spk_2:
08:33
can do that.
spk_0:
08:33
Yeah, that was one of the best. Yeah, we have some gas, and you're gonna dig that one up, folks, and it's called You know it came from the DVD DVD catacombs. It's the return of the Living Dead episode. Play that, I mean, it's funny, like we know him, like in the middle of the night on TV. Used to be a turn on these things, and it's like, Oh, the time Life presents 100 greatest songs of the 19 fifties. What we have now is like, Oh, you gotta dig up like the Binge Watchers Classics were running these things through the holidays. You gotta dig up our holiday playlist during Thanksgiving. You gotta go. If it's Halloween, you gotta dig up. It came from the DVD catacombs, actually. Do you know out l like an Al al tell? No, um, it rates are episodes based on, like, who's playing the episodes on just their player, Not across the whole interview on their website, right. And actually, um, the hell we never saw that we did for it came out of the catacombs, remember? We did like you
spk_2:
09:28
were mixing. I
spk_0:
09:29
think I just
spk_2:
09:30
got out of the new Halloween. I did a review, and then you did something.
spk_0:
09:34
Some of the old ones, the classics in there. And ah, that one's, like tops down there right now. Like tops. Like tears. Yeah, it's specific to that player. Like when Rutger Hauer died our record, Our episode was, like, way up there. You know, like that. Unfortunately, it was a bad ass Total badass. Uh,
spk_2:
09:52
the Hitcher man. Pictures like in my fair villains Top 10 villains of all time. I mean, he was amazing
spk_0:
10:01
enough for being Roy Batty for making you give a shit about an android in In in Blade Runner. I mean, that's, you know, like like he's, you know, he was He was solid shit, man. He was a great actor.
spk_2:
10:12
Oh, yeah.
spk_0:
10:13
And I'll obviously love even split said, You know, if I'm writing fake split second sequel, CNN, I mean, but
spk_2:
10:19
I just watched that recently. Did
spk_0:
10:20
you
spk_2:
10:20
Still Great. It's still fun. Yeah.
spk_0:
10:23
And, uh,
spk_2:
10:25
it's still it's still good.
spk_0:
10:26
Yeah, It makes this little really
spk_2:
10:29
love, like the look of in. I mean, it was Ben. Um, I don't know if animal I don't know, a lot of venoms colic origins, but it looked like then him
spk_0:
10:38
pretty creature. Yeah. Yeah. It's funny having a
spk_2:
10:43
venom style. Look
spk_0:
10:45
Yeah, a little bit like the alien Symbian. It kind of looked a little bit like aliens.
spk_2:
10:49
Yeah, kind of a mix between them. Yeah.
spk_0:
10:52
Yeah, but, um, I'd like to hear more about what? I know we're jumping around a lot because I'm so excited that I'm talking to Nick. Not that I wouldn't be excited talking to Dave because days been pulling some killer episodes, but I don't know what you like. I said he's like in that he's like in the bad Max dimension right now in California because they state
spk_2:
11:12
his area always gets so jacked up
spk_0:
11:15
my area as
spk_2:
11:16
you like, but his area seems like they're always getting, like, power cut off over the hill here.
spk_0:
11:22
If I come back to visit L. A Forget Ali, I'll skip l. A. And he's up. Antonio,
spk_2:
11:30
the l. A is like homeless everywhere. Traffic is worse than what it was. I mean, literally two miles from here, I go on. There's like all these minivans and homeless on the street, it is. It's really gone downhill.
spk_0:
11:44
Pretty crazy people living in their care of it
spk_2:
11:46
really is.
spk_0:
11:47
What's funny is I'm sure they're old. They're probably won't work. And friends like some conglomerate, er they're working for a tech company. Probably nobody can exactly, but they can't afford
spk_2:
11:54
a house. I have minivan or he rent some. Oh, yeah, but they mean it's amazing what they can get away with you. But if,
spk_0:
12:03
uh my lady No, no, One of my buddies, he's like driving for uber, but he also lives in his car. So you deal with people like today Sweetman and living out of it. And then he cleans it up and drives around at night and uber's damn
spk_2:
12:18
Wow, that's Yeah,
spk_0:
12:20
yeah,
spk_2:
12:21
yeah. I mean, I literally I would love to get out of here, but for work wise, it just doesn't work right now. But in the future, I definitely Yeah, I definitely want to get out for sure. Yeah, it's changing here. California's beautiful, but l A is like, uh, I think it's a liberating. That is, you know? Yeah. Uh,
spk_0:
12:43
yeah. Here is not like a mecca. I know, like some of our friends are, like moving further and further out from the city center. Like most people that we know, they're literally like three. Like they're not, like, located like West L. A. Like Culver City like they used to their own Silver Lake or even further out. Yeah,
spk_2:
12:58
well, I'm in What pills? Which I could still get the Santa Monica never in an hour. Hollywood in a downtown in an hour. But yeah, I definitely like it's the further out Ugo. It's nicer for sure. Yeah, I'm definitely over the whole like and I have a shoot for, like clients in downtown L A. Sometimes
spk_0:
13:18
that's what I'm telling
spk_2:
13:19
you. It just looked like 1/3 world country. Now it's like just homeless everywhere. And then and then you're in these nice 1,000,000. Then there's someone like these $1,000,000 apartments. You look outside their window and there's homeless people everywhere. It's creepy
spk_0:
13:33
across different worlds.
spk_2:
13:34
Oh, yeah? Wow. Like like my, uh, everybody Honey was in Hollywood, right? You leave this house or when I have to go see him in, like all park, I'm parking right by like a bunch of people with tense living outside. And then he lives in this awesome apartment. It's just like it's ridiculous, man. Different world, man. Yeah, it's crazy. What was the last time you've been in a way.
spk_0:
14:01
It's been a while. It's been a while.
spk_2:
14:04
Yeah, I think. Yeah, yeah, it's changing.
spk_0:
14:09
I'm just like I have so much social anxiety. Like I don't even think I want to go there, you know? I mean, like, e. I don't like I don't go out anymore like it's funny, like I used to be the center of the party. I'm at the events. I'm like mingling. I'm mixing with the people. And part of that was like, That's how you sell scripts, right? You got to go to the parties and you've got to meet the people. You've got to get the money right. Like I don't think you can handle
spk_2:
14:33
hole in the same hole in the same cage like some people are like old friends, old client, sort of like, Oh, you want to meet up and like, I got some things going on right now are whatever it is they just sometimes like, I really don't. I'm good, you know? There's a lot of work to get out of the house, and I actually really Well, that's what happens, right?
spk_0:
14:52
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. You know, your Senate, your whole center shifts and it's the same thing. Like, um, I know I had conversation with you Where I would like to call it the old friends that didn't have kids and didn't have any responsibility is most, like, get your shit done, get your product made, get out there making movies, but
spk_2:
15:07
no time.
spk_0:
15:08
Yeah, I mean, I was in Austin recently, Ram. Every business leader. Yeah, like I went to Austin. It was strange, like, ah, not being out there with my wife and kids. I was, like, just floating around. Okay. And go work in the events and stuff like that, and it's just different. It's a different experience when you have, like, a whole try.
spk_2:
15:25
It's nice to get away sometimes too big. I mean, I went to New York in August in we're just I was filming, but then I neither like, damn it, like, just be free.
spk_0:
15:36
Do do you know what's coming up in Boston? Like? I had no idea that they were going to open up one of those arc lights here, and then they're doing this whole promotional contest. What do you What do you think is 24 hours in Boston? Like, shoot the film? You know, get some cash or whatever I'm like, Damn like when I read that contest, I was like, just to make a movie just for the hell of it. You know, like, there's so much pressure, like like on our level where we are doing it for a living. You're just like you think about the resources it takes to put something together and like, you know, like, I don't even think about movies the way that I used to, Like, I'm starting the watch just for the hell of it, Like starting to get back into watching things. Um, like Warlock to is freaking on to be right now. And we're like, two is cool. Now I am again and
spk_2:
16:19
I've never seen that one. I remember when it came out and I've never seen it.
spk_0:
16:23
There's these Ah, Druids that apparently, like, have the radar for the warlocks. And, ah, they have the hear about this prophecy Armageddon supposed to happen. And then they put their kids through a ritual where it's kind of crazy. They activate their powers, so it's almost like they die. But they come back and then, um and you know, Julian Sand shows up. It's like I'm fucking shit up. And then and then you know, the kids, like User Andrew Powers to fight him. Um, it's kind of
spk_2:
16:52
a badass nineties. Do Julian fans
spk_0:
16:55
like rotoscoping video effects, You know what I mean? We're talking like the early days of video special effects. So there you go. It's not his creepy or is like Dark is the first Warlock. This one's kind of more campy, More like comic look like, But I do. I I thought that you watched Warlock, too. I know. I've talked about
spk_2:
17:14
it with I've seen the 1st 1 I remember coming out. Remember? I think I saw the end, which I can I think I remember the effect you're talking about. Yeah, but now I've never seen it.
spk_0:
17:26
Thanks. Yeah, it was
spk_2:
17:29
one other 12
spk_0:
17:30
Oh, um, warlike. Oh, well, killer close round of space. Which is like one of my again. Yeah, like that's on two. All right, now, killer clowns is basically like a small town takes on clown like monsters from outer space that pretend to be a circus so they can collect people. Which makes me believe that they've probably come to earth and done that a couple of times, because why would they be clowns every time? Or it's kind of like they're cruising through the whole galaxy. It would have to be disguised as something else, because, I mean, does every planet have a circus? Probably not that seem like a very earth related things. So you kind of wonder
spk_2:
18:03
came down one time and all these weird things that made people laugh. I'm like, Oh, these air. Let's dress like this thing
spk_0:
18:10
would be kind of cool to see a pretty Well, you were right. It be interesting to see that we did like a 19 thirties like Barnum and Bailey Circus prequel where they come down and they're likely infiltrate the circus. That'd be kind of cool
spk_2:
18:22
to have the offer. I could do that.
spk_0:
18:25
Yeah, there was, like, an unofficial sequel that I can't track down any more. Where was, like, had the same kind of clowns, But it wasn't like a fish
spk_2:
18:32
away. Really?
spk_0:
18:33
Yeah, like somebody tried to make a sequel. It was, like, marketed like it was the sequel. You know, movies, like, just comfortable. You know, this was like, um I think they played this on TV. Like so if I can't clowns were like walking into this mini mart in the early two thousands. You know, kicking it with surfer dude look like the same. But it
spk_2:
18:52
wasn't in a It wasn't an official Siegel that right? Because I know the guy up there named the
spk_0:
18:58
little brother brother. Yeah.
spk_2:
19:00
Yeah, I remember that. I bought the DVD like, 1999 And at the time, they're like, Yeah, call classic. We're really trying to gear up for the 2nd 1 And then 20 years later from men I still have been they seemed like they still haven't been able to make it, which is a shame to it's like with what those guys did. I don't have the facts I'm estimating was like a two or $3 million budget. If they give these guys like five or six million right now, I mean, you have enough cult status where he would make that money back.
spk_0:
19:31
Yeah, well, I mean, it would be a streaming hit to like, if Netflix kicked it in or it's on. Yeah.
spk_2:
19:37
Seems like a guaranteed money grab like I don't understand. It is we would have like, movies. They're doing now. Like, have you seen ah three from hell?
spk_0:
19:48
Oh, no. My brother asked me about that too. He's like, Oh, did you see this one? I like I've kind of lost interest in robbery, not the movies
spk_2:
19:55
I have to you, but for some reason, I don't know why I like I actually like this was like, the first movie I liked. It is, um, a long time. But But the way they released it was interesting because, like, stab them event, this company will be like, Hey, we're showing this movie over two nights, right on a Monday night come scene in the theater, and it totally made its money.
spk_0:
20:15
Was an interesting businessman. Really? Jalen
spk_2:
20:18
time bobbed about.
spk_0:
20:19
Yeah, I was just gonna say, like, I didn't mean to interrupt you. What I was gonna say. It was
spk_2:
20:24
Oh, no,
spk_0:
20:24
like, fathom events, like does this whole spectacle thing? It's not just like going to the movies they, like, make an event out of it. So it's worth going to. The movies are actually worth going. We let me like I did go to Alamo Drafthouse to see once upon a time in Hollywood. But that was cool, man. I saw commercials about stuntmen because the movie's about a stunt man. So I got to see commercials about stuntmen and, like interviews and then movie trailers about stuntmen. And then I got Ah, root beer and a chili dog like breaking Perfect. That's great. If it's not an experience, then you're just gonna turn on voodoo or not, which that's another good app to. I know this episode is about to be, but voodoo is cool, too. Man, I don't know if you like downloaded stuff on voodoo
spk_2:
21:07
like I've seen it. Like what? It would
spk_0:
21:11
just like it. But it's players easy to use, like that's what really makes me kind of irritated. There's a lot of stuff on Amazon prime, but you can't find Do you know what I mean? How it compiles things. It's really hard to find, and the player is not intuitive, like, how do you rewind it? Can you get through a scene? Squirrel. You don't mean like
spk_2:
21:30
it is really annoying, you know, unless you're using your phone and connect into like a little device. I was doing that right now. That's the only way of them like Oh, I can actually, that's word easy, but you'll be doing on a remote. It's
spk_0:
21:42
and so no, it was a little easier to play who is kind of difficult. But, you know, I'm watching most of my stuff on voodoo to be and Netflix. Everyone's wanna watch something, too, but not not frequently. And they were closing a WalMart wanted to buy every single movie s on the show because the DVDs we're gonna go for less than a buck. I didn't
spk_2:
22:05
Do you still buy blue or DVD, either? It's funny. I don't do DVDs very much, but I do. By blue is
spk_0:
22:13
that's what 20 years on?
spk_2:
22:15
All these so great.
spk_0:
22:16
Yeah, well, I mean, now they have this whole four k ultra HD global, but, um, actually, by Maur DVDs And I do blue rays actually okay, because they're cheap
spk_2:
22:28
blue eyes. They're so cheap. Now I'm like, checking by, like a classic movie that I really like get a really good quality for, like, five bucks, like ads worth whatever. Yeah,
spk_0:
22:40
so we're kind of winding down this Ah, this extra special Halloween episode. You know what's also funny is you're not on a lot of that. You're not on the like. You're not on the regular like Tuesday night ones, like not some of the episodes lately, because I know you're busy or whatever. Got stuff going on, um, and we haven't been able to put the schedule together for you, but, ah, you always pop up at the at the holiday episodes. Have you noticed? Okay, there's these. These were once, and it's not like you'll pop up the holiday special. Yeah, that's the thing. Like like last year, like around Thanksgiving. Like, you know, Dave's not available or whatever. And then, like, Okay, Sputnik is. And so we could jam this holiday special. Or like, uh, like I remember Days
spk_2:
23:21
one in a Best Buy parking lot. It was
spk_0:
23:24
still funny. That episode is called Rip. Remember, innit? Yes, Dad episode is called two minutes from the spot Nick was editing somewhere in like Hollywood or Pasadena or something, and left Burbank. So he left this editing gig and just like, called me from his car and we banged out a whole episode. It's a classic. You could dig it up, but I think it's called two minutes from the spot, but my point is really
spk_2:
23:46
hot. I remember, like, happy to turn my era, but they sound probably really crappy. And, like sweating. It was great.
spk_0:
23:51
So do you have a technical failures around the holidays? And then, like Dave's from the regular? Yeah, but then, um, we
spk_2:
24:00
want to be on the show with Dave.
spk_0:
24:01
Anyway, Come on, people don't know is there's this tragic feud. So if I call one of them, I can't other ones like I won't do it. It's like it's like Abbott and Costello. We had this beautiful partnership, and now they just can't work together. I wanna
spk_2:
24:14
be on the show
spk_0:
24:14
today. It's a special thing. Yeah, but I was gonna say is like the other thing was, Oh, the other thing that happened on the show all the time is Ah, we've tried to record a tremors. Siri's discussion, like three times and three times the recordings have failed. How do you know?
spk_2:
24:37
Next time you try to do it, everyone needs to record from their end. Just old school tape players. And
spk_0:
24:43
then you just
spk_2:
24:45
like whatever. Chapman. Yeah, Yeah, it's kind of funny. Destined for failure to return to do the ultimate tremors episode or just someone move. You
spk_0:
24:54
kind of have themes now, right? Like we have seasons and all this like it used to be. We just jammed a whole Siri's like its binge watching soul. It's big hole, right? We do the whole little tremors. 1234 the serious blow. And we've tried to do that. And I'm like And then I talk about how I had, like, an internship with the people that made it. And like then I made a story editor man at me. He wouldn't let me do this. An informational interview like he wouldn't let me get close enough to the creators of Tremors to even make a difference. But it never it never works out. Like like I'm so close to the people that may make the tremors movies. It's really funny, like I think it was I talking about this on the well. You listen to the Hellraiser one right?
spk_2:
25:33
Do the Heller's or three.
spk_0:
25:35
Yeah. Did I talk about Sharknado on the Bible? I don't think it was like a couple of wins before I talked about Shark,
spk_2:
25:42
didn't we interviewed the guy from certain
spk_0:
25:44
way. Okay, so all right. So we'll talk about it now, like people keep like like who I am and like how I'm getting to the industry. And like, everybody, like, what's funny is like, Yeah, I'm this weird person was on the outskirts of everything, but I have these conversations with these people and things happen. Like I was talking about Sharknado. I was talking to him about time travel, and he was telling me to shut up or like being quiet. And I'm like, Yeah, the next one's gonna be about shitty enough legs in the next movie like fucking time.
spk_2:
26:15
Frankly, I I stop watching those
spk_0:
26:18
that a second
spk_2:
26:19
when I think that it wasn't you working in the 4th 1 at the time?
spk_0:
26:23
Well, fourth awakened or whatever, like he's coming out. And then, like you're on the 5th 1 was in thing in the thing spoil anything on this episode. Congratulations, David. You didn't get to hear anything. I was looking at three
spk_2:
26:38
episodes. I was like, What's in your hell ways or three episode? Yeah, freaking on it because that was one of my favorites. Like Like like you said, Like two and three are the ones I like. Those are great classic 80 to 94 movies. Then you just nailed it. I'm so glad you did that one. Because most people do Hilary's or two, but three is pretty freaking awesome.
spk_0:
27:00
Well, like one of the reasons I stopped interviewing people in the industry and, like, Okay, I'm not gonna say that I'm never going to ever again. But it's like I wasn't talking about any movies that I gave a shit about, and I didn't want to do that. What's the point? But then how
spk_2:
27:14
many interviews with then? We're like, Yeah, we're gonna watch this really bad movie. Yeah,
spk_0:
27:18
we did, like, 20 in a row with that means that was, like, a whole years where
spk_2:
27:21
there was one where you're talking crap on the person. It was like, the most funny thing. Person didn't really realize it.
spk_0:
27:28
Ah, yeah, I know. But that further that the publicist never gave us any other things to review after that. Well, you know, that's just the way it is, huh? Bitch? Watching is about loving movies, and it's like a cultural a lifestyle choice, if you will. And also like a creative outlet for some of us who are in the industry but can't seem to get it over the next hump to make the next movie. You know, like that's it. But everybody download two beats free. There's a bunch of movies on there. Let's go watch all these holes. It's
spk_2:
28:04
really great, and we're not making money off of it. I listen to the show. John brought it
spk_0:
28:08
up and
spk_2:
28:09
I started going through my dude. This is really and there's not a lot of commercials all considering how much movies you get. That's true. Uh, I watch Public Master for five recently.
spk_0:
28:24
Yes, see what I'm saying? Like there's there's just nuggets on their golden nuggets of good movies that you could just stumble. Oh, um, he just meant to help Master, which makes me think of Ah, what's that? Oh, no, I was just gonna You just reminded me of something like you were talking about Puppet Master. And then I thought about Corey Feldman in Public Master. And then I thought about Corey Feldman in This Rapper just made it a music video called Lost Boys and had Corey Feldman and the other guy in this Lost boys Music video. Where the wrapper is like, becomes a vampire. But it's a beginning. The Frog brothers were warning him about vampires all over L. A. And in the video is called Lost Boys. Yeah,
spk_2:
29:08
I'll be Googling Are you giving this today? Later on for
spk_0:
29:12
sure. All right. All right. Uh, here's your chance, Nicky Tea. You got to take us out like the old days.
spk_2:
29:21
Well, I'll take you guys out, guys. It was a great time talking to John. I got tales from the dark side in the background on Lover's Vow bowel episode, which is my favorite of that Siri's. And check that movie had check out. Enjoy your podcasts. Uh, John, where did they find you? I don't know.
spk_0:
29:38
What do we
spk_2:
29:38
do now? They find John everywhere.
spk_0:
29:40
Yeah, just fucking everywhere.
