The Gateway Program has several major components including new rail tunnels under the Hudson River and the replacement of the 108-year old Portal Drawbridge over the Hackensack River. Tuesday evening the Raritan Valley Rail Coalition sponsored a presentation on the project in the Cranford Community Center.
