One of the great statements in the Bible is where God’s people were being stubborn and defiant. God says to them, “Come, let us reason together.” That is an amazing statement because God doesn’t have to do that, He could just impose his will, but instead He treats us as human beings by appealing to our minds so that we would choose to do what is good and right through our own reason.
