In this episode, Rabbi Bienenfeld is back! He and Aaron sit down to begin a new book of the Torah and try to figure out what to make of Sefer Devarim, the Book of Deuteronomy. Why is almost the whole book comprised of speeches by Moshe? Why is there so much review of things that the Torah has already covered, and how are we to make sense of what gets mentioned and what gets glossed over? To further complicate matters, why do some incidents seem slightly different when Moshe recounts them? Through the discussion, our hosts develop a couple of concepts that will hopefully help shed light on the final book of the Pentateuch.
