As we end our series on LamENT & Justice this Easter Sunday, we are aptly going to take a look at the resurrection. Not the resurrection of Jesus - but that of Lazarus in John 11. Here we find an interesting response from Jesus: although those He loves are deathly ill, grieving, and calling on Him for healing, He waits to arrive on the scene until it seemingly too late. Why? Why, when those whom He loves have faith in his ability to heal and protect does Jesus wait? And what can we learn about God's character, ability, and heart from such a delay?
