Show Notes

A recent study by the University of British Columbia shows that students who took music lessons in high school performed better in subjects like English, science and math. That’s not particularly surprising. Several studies link music practice to neurological changes that improve certain brain functions. Think memory or planning skills, for example.

But, does studying or playing music create job skills? Is creativity linked to productivity? Composer and music professor Ethan Wickman joins me to add up all the notes on turning creative skills into practical tools. Welcome to BexarCast.
