Payne Stewart had a number of close friends and Peter Jacobsen was one of them. While they dueled on the course, off the course Peter & Payne teamed up as two of the founding band members in the popular PGA Tour musical group Jake Trout and the Flounders. Jake joins Brian to revisit an embarrassing moment in 1989. A decade later, it shaped the indelible moment we witnessed between Payne and a young Phil Mickelson at the 1999 US Open at Pinehurst- just months before Payne's tragic death. Jake also revisits his popular Portland event, "Peter's Party", and shares why an event like that will likely never take place again.
