Speaker 1:

You guys are going to have to forgive me again because yet again, you're going to hear a ton of background noise, but it is summer and Asbury Park and so it is impossible to get that out of there. Um, but I did want to talk to you because we've got so many new things happening at the paranormal museum and this week we actually got in three new artifacts that I'm going to be, um, isolating and investigating this week to see what kind of activity week we get on it. Um, and I will tell the stories as well. Um, hold on a second. Heather just walked in. Hi Heather. Come on in. Oh No, you're fine. Heather is one of our tour guides and the museum and um, Heather is bringing us new candles, so, so tell me, Heather, has the museum been particularly active in the last couple of weeks? Whenever you're here? It's me. I'm the battery for the museum. Um, Heather actually comes to us from Ohio. Um, oh, hi. Oh, so she is a transplant to New Jersey, but she comes to us by way of Ohio. So one of our favorite artifacts here in the museum is actually from Ohio with the door from the Ohio state reformatory, um, which we just kind of updated the exhibit for that. So if you guys are planning on coming to visit, make sure that you come on a tour that Heather is giving. Heather gives tours on Saturdays because she can bring a little extra Ohio to you for that. Um, and we also have, um, another new, it's not really a new exhibit, it's kind of like an expansion of an exhibit. We have decided to take some of, honestly some of the artifacts that I've never put on display before because the story is kind of long and drawn out and a little bit creepy I guess. Um, we've decided to actually share them, share the artifacts with the public at large, but specifically with paranormal investigators. So we had gotten a huge donation from the family of an a cult professor. In other words, a professor who studied the occult and folklore, uh, who had passed away about seven years ago, um, and who unfortunately, whose wife had survived him, um, and had maintained his collection of about 10,000 volumes. Um, and unfortunately she died in a house fire. And these books were also part of that fire. Um, some of them were destroyed, but, but the ones that we received were the ones that, um, were damaged by the fire. We're closest to her and we're the ones that were, um, uh, the ones most closely associated with the occult. I have had these in storage for about six or seven years. Um, I didn't really know what to do with them. I felt weird about, uh, putting them on just on display because the woman died here, them. Um, and also they really still really smelled of a fire and whatnot. And, and I actually decided that I'm gonna, I'm gonna Create a small Occult Research Library and I'm going to let paranormal investigators schedule time to come in free of charge and use the library. And, and I'm going to do that in honor of both the woman who perished in the fire and the professor who collected these books. So I'm really excited about that. There's about 150 titles, maybe a couple more. Um, and we also have access to about 15, 1600, um, a cult titles, um, that you can research on one of our computers here. Um, but if you're a partner will investigator and you're interested in using some of the older texts to do some research. We have them here. You can hit us up online and schedule an hour or two hours to come in and sit in our small little nook and research if you will. So I'm really excited about that. Um, but I've gotten a couple of other artifacts as well that I'm not going to get into because I'm going to isolate them this week and then we're going to try, try to investigate and see what we can get with them. Um, I'm definitely going to be putting that someplace online so that you guys can participate with us. But I also want to encourage you to please go out and check out patrion. It's a paranormal museum. Uh, and Jay, we have a ton of, of, of different podcasts and a ton of different content that we're putting out there for our supporters. But it's also a way for you guys to become a member of the team. Um, not only will we bring you every step of the way in how we're, uh, advancing and, um, and enlarging the paranormal museum, but we're going to bring you on investigations. We're going to, uh, we're gonna afford you the opportunity to actually physically come on investigations as well as getting all of our content before anyone else and getting some content that nobody else has. Um, if you like the podcast, if you love the shop, if you are interested in becoming a member of the team or a supporter, please go to patching on or Patrion or however you pronounce it, and find us and see and, and support us in any level that you can. It's the paranormal museum, so it's www dot[inaudible] dot com forward slash paranormal, NJ. Um, and I really, you know, I can't tell you how much we would appreciate it and I can't tell you how excited I am for all of the different things that we're going to be doing. Um, but if you don't have the opportunity to do that, I get it. It's fine. Um, and you're a paranormal investigator and you are interested in using this research library. Please hit us up@infoatparanormalbooksandj.com. Um, this isn't a full podcast. This is just me reaching out to say I'm excited. Things are going great.
