On this episode, So What, Now What with Coach Mike Sanford, Benjamin and Mike talk about the reality of being a college football coach at the highest level, the weight and pressure that comes with this profession, and the immense responsibility of raising up the next generations of young leaders to win in all areas of life, on the field and beyond. Mike Sanford has submitted the apexes of college football coaching, most recently as the Interim Head Coach for the University of Colorado. He has coached numerous players who have earned All-American honors and have gone on to play for the National Football League, including Jordan Love who will be the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers as they begin their 2023 season. Along with the success, Mike has also experienced some of the greatest challenges professionally and personally. Through it all his family is strong, his faith is secure, and he continues to lead with excellence, finding joy and purpose in literally everything he does. This is not a sugar-coated conversation and is packed with timeless life and leadership lessons.

Episode Quote:

"Be authentically you. Do what you have been created to do, what you have been groomed to do, and be authentically yourself. At the end of the day, if the authentic leader is not successful in the eyes of the world, God will provide. You are never a failure when you are leading as the best version of who God created you to be."
