As a Strong Dad, what are some of our primary responsibilities? Your list may be a long one, but one thing many of us men have left off our list is the responsibility to take care of children and widows. Yes, we are called to take care of children and widows.
This Strong Dads show goes right after this subject. Specifically, we address the responsibility of taking care of children. Our special guest, Mike Stecher, shares his story about what this looks like. He shares his story about how God laid fostering and adoption on his heart.
Hutch is able to share his story as well. Adoption was not always something on the "to do list", but after listening to God pull on our hearts, we knew what we needed to do.
How about you? Are listening to God? Maybe he isn't calling you to foster or adopt, but he is calling you to take care of children. Those that can not take care of themselves. Look around, could you coach, mentor, or even offer financial support to a child in need.
