Strong Dads - The Sex Talk - Episode 54
Hutch and Kyle had some fun in this episode. The reason for the fun was due to the awkwardness of talking on this subject. This is the same awkwardness that parents and kids feel when the "sex talk" tries to happen in our families. We feel nervous and vulnerable with the words we are saying. Will we say the right thing? Will we get flustered and mess up the entire talk. Could I cause more damage than good?
These are the things that we helped bring to the conversation today for the sake of our Strong Dads and our kids. We owe it to our kids to teach them about relationships, especially opposite-sex relationships. These relationships provide the opportunity for some of the greatest joy a person can ever experience. However, if things go bad, these relationships can be devastating and costly.
Kyle and Hutch take time to discuss why we can not afford to assume that our kids are going to learn the necessary skills, boundaries, and mindsets that are necessary for successful relationships.
