Like it or not, we find ourselves dealing with people we don't like way more frequently than we want to. It is part of life. Here's the tough part, we may not like them, but as a Christian, we are called to LOVE them.
Kyle and Hutch spend time talking about how we are to work to get along with people we do not like. As this show is being recorded one week out from the 2020 election, we see daily reminders of how people do not like each other. We see disagreements and dissension throughout our country. We see the struggles for who is right and who is wrong. We often end with a complete dislike for the opposition; maybe even hate.
This is not acceptable in the eyes of God. We, as Strong Dads, must not accept this behavior from ourselves or the ones we are responsible for. We must do better at teaching and modeling what it looks like to treat others with respect. To work toward a common good. To show positive intent when we are dealing with difficult people or difficult situations.
This is the time for our Strong Dads to step up and be the leaders. First in their own homes, second in their communities and workplaces.
