The quote by Charles Dickens - "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times" pretty much sums up where we're at right now, I think. And while the "best of times" part may feel elusive right now, it's hiding right there in the shadow aspect itself. Because that's how partners move with each other in energy - together, all of the time. Animals understand so much better than we do how - their word "transition" and our word "death" - is an ordinary part of the cycle of all beings on planet Earth. They don't hide their grief and they also don't run from change or their own transition. Because it's part of their whole experience and well, if you hide the worst parts, the best parts aren't likely to shine as brightly as they do. And goodness knows they love their best parts so much!
