Beautiful Kali has gotten kind of a bad rap, I think. It's her very fierceness born out of protection that we as humans fail to embrace as an essential part of the Divine Feminine. We attempt to repress it, we attempt to control it and we perceive to fall victim to her (and thus the Earth's/Mother Nature's) whims. Yet it is this fire of celebrating death and rebirth in the same moment that will be the ultimate reunification of ourselves. With each other, with other species and finally, with Earth Herself. We've been given the corrective shove we so badly needed. The next question is how will we respond?
