Christians are blessed when they understand the grand community they belong to and the epic story they are a part of. Studying church history and learning about heroes of our faith are both ways that we can tap into the resource of collective wisdom and supercharge our spiritual growth. We have been gifted with a "cloud of witnesses" and if we utilize their testimony we will be better equipped to run the race of faith and throw off every weight and sin which clings so closely.
