After finishing a 6 year teaching stint in the UK, Sandy MacKinnon decides he will sail down the river in a 10' Mirror dinghy to catch the train to London and then home. However, he decides to keep going for another day and another and another....14 months later he has crossed England, crossed the Channel, sailed and rowed 4000km, had some amazing adventures and arrives at the Black Sea to complete his journey.
