"At death we put the signature on our life’s portrait. The paint dries. The portrait’s done. Ready or not" -Randy Alcorn
You cross the finish line at death, then we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil—2 Cor 5:10.
Did you know, God actually looks forward to rewarding you? Rewards are a sign of His pleasure and approval for the way you lived and served while on earth. You say, God will have a hard time finding reasons to reward me—Don’t count yourself short. You have more coming than you can imagine.
One day when you cross the finish line, you will find yourself standing before your Heavenly Father, while looking into His smiling face, you won’t be lectured nor will you be condemned for the way you lived or served. God will embrace you with the admiration of a loving Father. Then excitedly show you the rewards He’s kept—just for you.
