Great courage was demonstrated on the day Jesus died. He was born sinless to die a sinner’s gruesome death on a Roman cross. Not only do we witness the courage of Jesus on display during Good Friday, but also we see the courage of one of His followers stepping out of the shadows of secrecy and into the light of open association with Jesus. This Sunday, we will look into the life of this secret follower of Jesus and how he overcame his fear with godly courage, and how he played an integral role after the death of our Lord.
