Show Notes

Listen to Harlem resident, mom, and former elementary school teacher Traci Lester, executive director of Harlem-based National Dance Institute (NDI), as they discuss a new Harlem history focused dance curriculum for the new school year and more with host Danny Tisdale, on The Danny Tisdale Show.

Traci Lester joined NDI as Executive Director in September 2016. Previously, Ms. Lester served as the chief executive officer of LSA Family Health Service, an East Harlem-based human services agency, where she spearheaded the reorganization and growth of the nonprofit. National Dance Institute (NDI) was founded by the legendary ballet dancer Jacques d’Amboise. NDI teaches all children – despite their age, race, gender, or ability, including important life skills: like confidence, passion and teamwork as part of their in-school curriculum.
