Michelle Cruz founded the now-closed East Harlem Café in 2008. Michelle is Project Director for Union Settlement Business Development Center’s Buy Local East Harlem Initiative. She is a Board Member of the East Harlem Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD); Settlement Health; the East Harlem Holiday tree Committee; El Museo Del Barrio, the East Harlem Community Alliance and as Co-Chair of the Diversity Innovation Hub Community Engagement Design Team.
Helen Steblecki
Helen Steblecki is a Senior Vice President with Citi Community Development (CCD) in the New York Tri-State Region. Citi Community Development leads Citi’s commitment to financial inclusion and economic empowerment for underserved individuals, families and communities across the U.S. Through innovative collaborations with municipalities, community groups and leading nonprofit organizations, the group harnesses the institution’s expertise, products and services to help expand opportunity for all.
