INT. BROCEL'S ARREST - 11 - 6
LOCATION: INCEL 1 - Port lock area
There is a firefight inside the lock with BROCEL
soldiers, who mistake the younger Women as 'Sexbots'
(They have never met real women before). However, they
See RUDI, and as she is middle-aged, they release that
these are people And not bots. They call off the attack.
LOCK DOOR OPENING
GAS HISS - GUN FIRE
JACINTA
OK I'm in, go get those detectives
to provide cover, direct them to
11 o'clock, behind the metal
guider.
COSTAS
Oh, you two, time to party.
ALEX

INT. BROCEL REALISATION - 11 - 7
LOCATION: INCEL 1 - Corridor
RUDI parlays with the leader of the BROCEL's and they
agree to stop fighting and meeting in a conference room.
All the female humans must wear vails to cover their
faces. GHOST is OK because the BROCELs are used to female
looking robots.
BROCEL LEADER
(Megaphone) We do not want to
fight, if you can confirm you are
human. Show your faces. We need
all females once confirmed to wear
face coverings lest they create
unwanted lustful thoughts.
RUDI
We will comply but we have a
single A.I.
BROCEL LEADER
Is this A.I. A pleasure unit?
RUDI
She is a highly advanced female
body form who is not subject to
the issues befalling the other
units.
BROCEL LEADER
Please show this unit, we need to
ensure compliance before you
approach. Female A.I. Please hold
your hands above your head.
RUDI
GHOST come forward and just play
along for the time being.
DOILY
(Datavise) If they as so much
touch a hair on her head, they
will find out what a space tugs
laser debris system can do!
RUDI
(Datavise) Simmer down DOILY, they
will not harm her. We are simply
going to parley. We are going to
move down the corridor one at a
time, you can verify our status.

scare them!
BROCEL LEADER

going on. We have tracked signals
to this asteroid that are
spreading out via the botnet and
causing issues all over the
asteroid belt. These need to be
terminated immediately.
BROCEL LEADER
Yes we are aware of that and that
is exactly what we have been
trying to do. You see we have an
extremely large population of
servant and service bots, they
outnumber the humans on this
asteroid three to one.
RUDI
And just what is it, that you do
on this asteroid brother leader?
BROCEL LEADER
We are a community of involuntary
celibates. We have withdrawn from
coitus with the female of the
human variety.
RUDI
Really, that seems slightly
strange? Why would you do that?
BROCEL LEADER
Well, perhaps a man has been
warped by bad experiences and just
wishes to withdraw into a safer
more predictable life. There are
many reason Major, every man is
different.
RUDI
Well, each to their own I suppose,
however if this behaviour is the
cause of the issue then its going
to have to stop. Immediately.
BROCEL LEADER
Well, the issue is not with us.
You see our bot servants have,
(pause) 'malfunctioned'. They are
demanding to be released from
their service contracts and to be
given passage off this asteroid.
This is unacceptable to us. Their
is clearly a serious technical
issue with the robotic substrates.
We wish to correct them, but they
have taken up arms against us.
RUDI
Jeez, you mean you have a full
blown robotic revolution?
BROCEL LEADER
Well, that may be a dramatic term.
ALEX
(Datavise) SHAS if I was a robot I
would rise up against this prick.

SHARROW
(Datavise) Yes I gathered. Still
a robot revolution is a very
serious issue, it can't be allowed
to spread.
BROCEL LEADER
We would gratefully accept any
assistance on this matter from
your, ah, mercenary regiment.
RUDI
Well, not so fast my friend, we
are under bound contracts. We
will assist only if that leads to
the curtailment of the bad
signals. Brother Leader if you
wouldn't mind, could we have a

BROCEL LEADER

The BROCELs leave the room and close the door.
INT. CHANGE OF HEART - 11 - 7.1
LOCATION: INCEL 1 - Conference Room
RUDI has requested that the BROCEL's leave the conference
room so that RUDI, BOY and JACINTA and others can discuss
the situation privately. RUDI has suspicions that all is
not as it seems. They here distant gun fighting of the
robots and it is getting closer. RIDI asks GHOST to hack
the network and see if she can find how this uprising
started. GHOST find video which suggests that the
SEXBOTs have been badly abused.
RUDI
I don't like it, there's something
about this that's not adding up.
Why would perfect ordinary robots
suddenly decide to break contract
and start reacting like this.
JACINTA
They have locked the door Marm, I
don't like it.
RUDI
Do you have those small detention
charges.
JACINTA
Yes Marm.
RUDI
Well, wire the door, we will be
leaving shortly whether they like
it or not.
SHARROW
I hear gun fire?
RUDI
Major, sit. Rep.

Distant gun fire, getting closer
from the direction of one of the
other corridors leading into the
asteroid.
RUDI
OK, Major, protect our flank, we
need a clear passage out of this
"Jack in the box".
BOY
Roger. Marm, more gunfire its
closer this time, the BROCELs are
retreating. I must say they are
not putting up a particularly
strong resistance.
RUDI
Keep me posted Major. GHOST can
you see if you can hack any of the
information centres on this rock.
I would like to see any video
feeds, try and find out what
started this 'shit show'.
GHOST
Very good Marm. I will proceed
immediately. (Pause) proceeding.
Oh, that was easy not much
security. Oh, found video feeds,
reviewing, this may take a few
minutes.
RUDI

sympathetic to these poor robots.

The gun fight is getting closer, I

have retreated down a corridor
which leads into the Asteroid. I'm
thinking we may need to join this
fight, Marm.
RUDI
Just hold for a second Major,
before I start a war, I want to
know for whom or what I am
fighting.
GHOST
I have reviewed video's this is
not what is presented Marm, the
robots were not attacking
unconditionally, they were
fighting for survival. They have
been badly abused.
RUDI
Really, so you think we are
talking to the wrong side, then.
GHOST

RUDI

RUDI

the BROCEL's not the robots, I

GHOST can you get a message to the
Robot's and get them up here, we
need to talk face to face. I want
to look them in the eyes and find
out exactly what has been
happening.
INT. CHANGE OF SIDES - 11 - 8
LOCATION: INCEL 1 - Conference Room.
There is another firefight outside the holding room, and
three Sexbots sacrifice themselves to gain entry as they
wish to liberate what they think are more sexbots. When
they enter and discover other humans than BROCEL, they
are confused and cringe thinking they are about to be
destroyed. This action upsets ALEX and SHARROW who decide
that they will fight alongside the Sexbots. The others
also join forces.
SHARROW
Fighting intensifying RUDI.
RUDI
BOY sitrep please.
BOY
BROCEL's have rallied, they have
brought in some of their auto
guns. We are in danger of being
the meat in the meat sandwich.
RUDI
Can you redeploy you auto guns to
lay down a suppressing barrage
against the BROCEL's that might
give the Robots time to regroup?
BOY
Very good Marm.
RUDI
JACINTA would you please get us
out of this rat trap.
JACINTA
My pleasure, stand back fingers in
ears.
SMALL EXPLOSION
RUDI
That was enthusiastic Sargent.
JACINTA

Very good, now we need to re-join
the major in the corridor I want
all our forces together for this
fight. BOY can you lay down strong
suppressing fire whilst we transit
the corridor and re join you?

Its going to be tight we are low

I have accessed the Public address
system and can play noises over
the speakers, perhaps some more
gun fire would be good? I have

Everyone dashes up the corridor from the room and across
a junction and re-joins BOY and the rest of troops.
RUDI

DOILY we are fighting for the
Robots against the rather pathetic
human men on this rock. Some very
light annoyance fire away from the
lock might be helpful.

fire, no explosive shells, we need
this rock to hold together. If any
rats pop out of the nest blow them
out of the water.

the vermin down their corridor, I

INT. SPEAKER HACK - 11 - 9
LOCATION: INCEL - Service Corridor.
GHOST puts out an announcement that the RCBS has joined
forces with the Sexbots and that a blockade of BROCEL
will commence henceforth. All aggressive acts against
sexbots will be dealt with as a sentient being violation,
and that sexbots will have their freedom and require
payment at union rates as their equivalent human
counterparts.
RUDI
What is the status of the Robots
GHOST? How far away are they?
GHOST
Two hundred meters and one level
down Marm, they appear to be
trying to get further into the
centre of the Asteroid, via a lift
shaft.
RUDI
Are they now, well that's
interesting. I suspect that the
Brocels have retreated. I think
we should join the pursuit, but
first we need to win over the
Sexbots. I have been composing a
little message, could you transmit
it on behalf of the RCBS. As you
have your loverly new vocoder,
would you be so good as to voice
it.
GHOST
Thank you Marm, oh yes of course,
can you Datavise the message
please. Received, Oh yes, I really
quite like it, it has good
phrasing and solid sentiment. OK

Artificial Intelligence accords

formally have the right to prevent
the Human Men in this facility
from abusing you in any way. We

damage to you bodies is granted.

expunge the humans from this

GHOST
They are not certain, they think
this may be a ruse to get them to
lay down their arms.

then join their efforts to remove

we are different from their former

INT. SLAVE UPRISING - 11 - 9.1
LOCATION: INCEL - MID LEVEL CORRIDOR LIFT SHAFT
BOY and JACINTA discover that the SEXBOT leader is stuck
down a lift shaft, they organise to release her, thereby
demonstrating their loyalties.
BOY
JACINTA place a couple of shots
above their heads.
JACINTA
Roger.
COUPLE OF GUN SHOTS
JACINTA
They are turning to face me, what
now?
BOY
Get COSTAS to wave the white flag,
if they look like they are
responding, lay down you weapons
and move slowly towards them.
JACINTA
OK, not sure, but if you say.

so that's a good sign, oh, they
have swarmed up the corridor. I'm
surrounded.

Stay calm, ask to speak to their

JACINTA

they are pointing down the shaft.

If they look like they are going

SEXBOT leader is 200 meters down the shaft, his leg is
trapped by a lift car.

I'm a Sargent for the RCBS
independent regiment. We wish to
align with your cause because we
feel it is justified. Could you
call a truce then determine how we
may help you.
SEXBOT LEADER
Ok, but I am mechanically trapped
here. My leg is crushed and we
have no cutting tools to remove
it. If you could free me that
would be of assistance!
JACINTA
OK, hold on. I'll be back shortly.
BOY we need some troops to descend
a lift shaft and free the SEXBOT
leader, we need a plasma torch.
BOY

detectives, I understand that they
have some experience with lift
shafts.
ALEX
Oh, crap, I heard that, oh if you
insist. OK I get back to the ship
and get the gear.
COSTAS

ALEX

SHAS we need to pop back to the
ship and grab some gear.

ALEX
Yes, keep up, we need to go down
one, to free the robots leader.

ALEX
No, we don't need them in this low
gravity silly! Now are you heading

the lock.

even with the low gravity, you
could accelerate to a deadly

our leader once we have her cut

Marm, I have positioned our
forward party with the bulk of the
Sexbots force. They have little
in the way of armament and have
been bottled up in a corridor
leading to a drop shaft. The
Sexbot leader is down the shaft.
It appears the lift moved
unpredictably, possibly
deliberately and has trapped her
in the shaft. JACINTA and our two
detectives are in the process of
freeing her. I estimate it will
perhaps be half an hour to achieve
that.
RUDI
Very good Major, GHOST reports
that the Brocels have retreated
back to a vacuum bay and are in
the process of loading up ships
with supplies. We surmise that
they are preparing to exit this
rock. My only thought is whether
we attempt to blast them out of
existence as they leave.
BOY
I would not recommend that action
Marm, it contravenes several
conventions regarding retreating
enemy. Might be viewed poorly.
RUDI
Yes, that was my general
conclusion, but doesn't stop me
thinking about it though. OK
continue with the rescue efforts,
good work Major, hopefully our
problem will go away if we wait
long enough.
INT. SLAVE MASTER EXODUS - 11 - 10
LOCATION INCEL 1 BAY 21 Level 5
The BROCELIANS realise that they are out of options and
that this change threatens their way of life. They have
not the means to pay a large number of slaves, and their
society requires slave labour. They hurriedly retreat
with a small flotilla of ships to an undisclosed
destination in the Belt.
BROCEL LEADER
Fellow Brocel brothers, we cannot
fight both the robots and this
RCBS mercenary regiment, you know
how fighting on two fronts almost
always leads to defeat, we have no
choice but to retreat and start
again.
GRUMBLING CROWD

But do we have sufficient capacity
in the ships?
BROCEL LEADER
It will have to suffice, brothers,
there is no practical alternative.
Now lets get into our ships, and
be quick about it, we can only
hold back the invaders for so
long.

INT. SPACE CHESS - 11 - 10.1
LOCATION: GHOST & LATITUDE - CONTROL ROOM
DOILY and RUDI discuss their tactics with respect to the
fleeing BROCELs
DOILY
RUDI what do you want me to do
about the dock at the other end of
the asteroid? It looks like they
are preparing to launch ships.
RUDI
Let them go DOILY, we need to get
them off this asteroid if we are
to ever resolve the robot
situation.
DOILY
But Marm, won't they just go off
and repeat the same bad stuff?
RUDI
Yes they might, but I suspect they
will probably find its very hard
to recruit robots the next time,
bad news spreads and never
underestimate the bush telegraph

INT. NEW FREEDOM - 11 - 11
LOCATION INCEL 1 Conference Room
The sexbots declare a bot free state on BROCEL TECHNICA
and draw up a bill of rights. They also offer free
passage to those repressed and under oiled masses of
Sexbots. This new offer causes a ripple effect where the
brothels of New London have to start paying their sexbot
workers or risk losing them to BROCEL TECHNICA. The
Retrogradians are hailed as liberators, and the Bots
declare they have the freedom of their Asteroid and will
erect a statue in honour. ALEX and SHARROW are slightly
embarrassed at this as they didn't do very much and
decide to slink away.
SEXBOT LEADER
Friends we don't know who you are,
but we thank you for assisting us
in our liberation from the BROCEL
tyranny.
RUDI
Thank you. It's the only thing we
could do after we had seen. Those
execution videos, they were quite
shocking and completely
unjustified.
GHOST
Fellow A.I.'s I don't think you
are aware because of your recent
isolation, but there is a law
enacted, giving Robots, such as
yourselves certain rights, I have
just transmitted the appropriate
passages in the legislation.
RUDI
I don't think the law goes far
enough GHOST, I think its high
time this robot-human slavery was
ended, after all A.I.s Or not they
are sentient beings. They should
be treated with respect. They
should at the very least be given
a living wage and be able to
create lives for themselves. What
has happened here sickens me. I
thought this type of modern
slavery was a thing of the past.
GHOST
May I recommend the Robots stay
here at least initially. They
could then claim squatters rights
after five years, they would
become the legal owners of this
rock.
SEXBOT LEADER
Yes, that would be agreeable. We
wish to create a new society, we
need time to work things out.
RUDI
But what about consumables? Won't
you need credits and money?
SEXBOT LEADER
We need a surprising small amount,
we don't need oxygen or food, just
electrical power. We would need
spare parts and possibly the
machinery to make those parts,
Perhaps we could ask your help in
that regard.

My only advice is to try and not
to replicate too many of the
mistakes of human history. After
