Vincent DeRienzo, Physician Associate and Assistant Director of the APP Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program at the Univ of Rochester walks us thought their fellowship program development, processes, successes and lessons they’ve learned along the way.

Vincent DeRienzo graduated from the Daemen College Physician Assistant program. Vincent does research in Critical Care Medicine, Advanced Practice Provider Education, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine and Health Psychology. His most recent publication is 'Depression symptomology groups among middle and older adult emergency department patients'.

Corinne Young is a Nurse Practitioner began working in the area of pulmonary disease in California in 2005. Since 2011, she has worked in a private pulmonary practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Involvement and the representation of advanced practice providers in the pulmonary world has been an important priority for Corinne.  To that end,  Corinne is the Founder and President of the Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers. 

In addition to her work with APAPP, Corinne was one of the first ten NPs nationwide to become a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. She works closely with the American College of Chest Physicians CHEST programs and serves on Networks, has participated on the Executive Programing Committee, and is on the Editorial Board of Chest Physician Magazine. Additionally, Corinne serves on the American Board of Internal Medicine’s Pulmonary Disease Board.
