“WHAT ARE YOUR CONVICTIONS?”
- Do you think American Christianity, for the most part, is superficial? (Discuss Howard Hendricks’ quote.)
- Read 1 Kings 17:1 and 2 Kings 16:30-33. Compare and contrast Elijah verses King Ahab.
- Why is it important to be absolutely certain about the reality of God? (See 1 Kings 17:1 again.) If I am convinced of the reality of God, how will that affect my life?
- Are you really convinced of the reality of Jesus Christ? Why or why not?
- Read 1 Kings 17:1 again. Elijah sees himself as a servant of God. What does that mean? Do you really see yourself as God’s servant or do you think God is really here for you and your plans? (Think about your prayers here.)
- What people are you impacting for Jesus and his Kingdom?
