1. What does it mean to “Get Real”?

1. Read 1 John 1:5. What is John telling us about God?

1. Why is God always right?  (See Colossians 1:15-17, as well as 1 John 1:5.)

1. Read John 13:21-30. What is John trying to tell us here?

1. Read 1 John 1:6-7. What do these verses say about the “typical” American Christian?

1. Read 1 John 1:8. What is John saying about people in general?  Do you think most people agree with John?  Do you agree with John?  (See Mark 7:20-23.)  How do little children prove John and Jesus’ point?

1. What did you think of the frog and the scorpion story?  

1. What is the difference between and non-believer and a believer’s nature?

1. Why is Luke 9:23 so important?

1. Read 1 John 1:9.  What is it saying?  Why is it great news?
