1. Read 1John 3:1. Is everyone a child of God? Who was our first parent (see John 8:41-44; Isaiah 14:12-15)?  What are the implications of Satan being our parent (see Psalm 2:1-3)?

1. If you are a child of God, what is your new DNA (see Galatians 5:22-23)?

1. Read 1John 3:16.  What is John’s point here?  Can you give some examples?

1. Read Isaiah 5:20. Do you think this verse applies to America today?

1. Read 1John 3:2. What is the meaning of this verse and what is an implication of this verse?

1. Read 1John 3:3. What is John’s point here?  Why does being pure matter (see Matthew 5:8)?
