Coronavirus takes one of the best: Memories of Mike Gottlieb and of Jerusalem
Show Notes

A lament for Michael Gottlieb, another of the best of us gone to Coronavirus. For many months he was the quiet facilitator of a series of critical meetings on the Status of Jerusalem that engaged variously the legendary journalist Chaim Bermant, PLO man Afif Safieh, peacenick David Solomon, Gazan Maie Sarraf, the irascible Saul Zadka and many others, not least Mike's wife Mili who hosted the meetings. Both Mili and Mike were felled by coronavirus. Mili is on the mend but Michael is gone. And the world is a poorer place for his loss.
