We're doing a little bit of demolition at our house. We thought we had finished a room and were ready to paint, actually had painted some of it, when we found some mold in the sheet rock. So we are tearing it out down to the concrete because, you can't leave the mold. It'll just keep coming and it'll make you sick. Your personal preferences are just like that mold. Left untreated they will just keep you walking away like stray sheep. You have to demo that part of your life and submit it to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. You cannot have it left unchecked. It has to go.

So roll up your sleeves, put your mind in gear, be totally ready to receive the gift that’s coming when Jesus arrives. Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn’t know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness. God said, “I am holy; you be holy. [1 Peter 1:13-16]
