Faith Enough: Faith in Prayer
•
Pastor Josh Ehrler
We have all the reasons we need not to talk to God. Jesus gives us a story of a widow who much fight for her established rights despite a powerful person standing between her and her rights. She should not have needed to keep banging on doors to be heard yet her world was broken and she persisted. Our world is broken and Jesus calls on us to keep praying. It takes us out of the center, it turns our attention to God and our neighbors, is solidifies our place with any who are suffering or crying out. God doesn't need us to speak the names of those who have been worn and abused by our social systems, but our neighbors do. Keep praying. A sermon as part of our "Faith Enough" series rooted in Luke 18.1-8.
