This is Pete's birthday week, so he's come prepared with one of his favorite horror movies: Tales from the Crypt presents: Demon Knight.
Watch William Sadler on a mission from God to keep safe a magical artifact from the clutches of the delightfully evil Billy Zane. This story is the big screen debut of the hit show, Tales from the Crypt, which ran for seven seasons throughout the 1990's.
The Crypt-Keeper of the title is an undead puppet that tells horror stories to the audience. The stories are often bloody, and always horny. In 1995, the creators expanded their scope and produced Demon Knight, which was planned to be the first of a trilogy of spin-off theatrical movies. Poor box office stopped that plan from panning out, but Pete still loves this film.
Featuring: a house full of people trapped by a swarm of demons, the blood of Christ blowing up evil people, CCH Pounder being her usual badass self, and Billy Zane having the time of his life playing a bad guy.
So grab a seat and listen to the Crypt Keeper's tale, and remember: don't get too scared.
