In Psalm 46 we read, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear ...” . We trust that this searching meditation will be uplifting and encouraging to you as a believer in Christ. If you don’t yet know Christ as your Saviour, you need to obey the gospel message – acknowledge your sinfulness before a holy God and accept His provision through Christ’s death on the cross as your sinless substitute. Only then will you receive the spiritual life you need to avail of the full blessing of such beautiful psalms as this where God can speak to you personally.
