What is the worst thing you have ever done? What's the worst thing ever done to you? When it's the "worst thing that I have ever done", we want mercy and forgiveness. However, when it is something done against us we want God's justice. When Jesus is teaching us to pray, he challenges us to say some dangerously powerful words: "forgive us our debts as we forgive others' debts." By God's grace, can we really do this? Yes, we really can.
