The American Constitutionalist Episode 21 – October 6, 2020
On this edition of The American Constitutionalist Podcast the panel cover three classically important federal issues:
1 - The federal government needs to be careful and prudent servants of the tax-paying American public, legislators should agree to balance the budget, and to eliminate tactics and circumventions that impede the purpose of a balanced budget, including raising taxes.
2 - The federal government should act with transparency, especially while spending taxpayers’ money.
3 - It is dangerous and reckless to continue to increase and place upon future generations more and more debt. Legislators should agree to support and enact federal legislation which would provide a steady and certain reduction in the current federal debt.
Finance and budget expert Charles Doraine joins Jeff Tokar, Cliff DeCamp, David Gibbs and Lonny Wilder for this week’s discussion.
