Red Dawn 1984 & Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey Review
Feb 17, 2020 Season 5
Mystic N Skeptic

In this week's show we review two films with Alice Lauren a Buzzsprout Broadcast Community guest and frequent panelist on movie podcasts. The 1984 version of Red Dawn is an American war film staring Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, Lea Thompson & Jennifer Grey. This red-scare 80s classic has some relevance to modern day concerns. The other film Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is a 2020 American superhero film based on the DC Comics team Birds of Prey staring Margo Robbie. A follow-up to Suicide Squad (2016), it has been doing poorly at the box office despite a good director, good actors and an entertaining  premise.
