Kelly discusses the things that great agencies do (and why poor performing agencies are poor performing). As Kelly mentions, great agencies strive for excellence. They hold everyone accountable and they execute their vision for excellence in every aspect of the business from recruiting and hiring to training to performance management. We had a great discussion about personal lines agencies and Kelly's thoughts were that the decline of the personal lines agent has more to do with poor execution than poor economics.
