From the early church until today, the very simple act of worship and unity that Jesus exampled at his last meal with his disciples before his arrest, has become a point of disagreement and distraction. Whether you call it Communion, Eucharist or The Lord's Supper, it has been surrounded in confusion, disagreement and divide; yet it was instituted by Jesus Christ as a means of displaying the power of unity and the celebration of community. Sadly for many Christians, we have allowed it to become everything but worship and celebration. Join us as we examine Paul's warning to the Corinthian church about taking this special time or worship lightly or for granted and how that relates to the modern church. From 1 Corinthians 11:17-22
