Dude, let me tell you. So I tell her to meet me at the house, right, when I leave the club. Then she's at my house when I plug looking like she's ready for the evening. And you know that girl's gonna mouth on her.

Yeah, yeah, you've been saying that for a minute too. But what'd she do, man? She slash your tires, fuck up your house or something?

Gazza 1:03

Man, you're crazy. Nothing like that. Of course she stayed over when I woke up. I left to get her some waffle house. When I got back, her car was gone. I thought something may have happened, so I went for my phone. Man, that's when I realized I left it in the room. When I got to the bedroom, my bed is all made up and shit, with the phone sitting on my pillow. I lean over to get the phone and I see something weird in the bathroom out of the corner of my eye. Man, I go cut on the light in the bathroom and see that this chick had written, you ain't shit on my mirror.

She fucked your mirrors up.

Gazza 1:39

Yo, man, you just won't stop. But my mirrors are good. She used red lipstick.

But she thinks this shit is emerging scene from a horror movie? She petty as fuck.

Yeah, that shit was wild. The best part was when I looked up my phone and saw the text. Good morning. Hope to see you soon. She over here making a big deal about nothing. But it probably didn't help that I had her name say this big titty girl though.

Man, don't worry about the text. You just see another woman just trying to take her spot. You've been with her for what? About six months now? She probably just wants more.

But that's not the point here. I'm honest, she's not my girl. Never told her she was my girl, and now she's definitely never gonna be my girl. But Joe, I'll get back with you. I just pulled up to Iri's house. You know I gotta be on time for those Sunday dinners.

It is crazy when you are 100% honest with a woman and they still create their own scenarios in their heads. I'm nobody's man because I don't want to be. Right now, the girl I'm closest to is inside this house cooking dinner for me. She doesn't care what I'm doing as long as I make myself available for her and that I never miss a Sunday dinner. She's a beautiful Jamaican girl whose cooking skills are on point, so coming over every Sunday wasn't too hard. But it's already 8 o'clock, so let me stop rambling so I can get in there on time. She doesn't like when I'm late, I have her. Damn, it smells good in here.

First off, I don't like being told what to do. I apologize for missing those Sundays. I also told you I didn't miss those because I was saying some other chick. Look, man, we're either kicking it or we're not.

No, we're good. I'm just saying, all I ask for is Sunday. Just one day out of the week. If you can do that, then we're really, really just done. Just done. Just done the whole thing.

Just know, I would never intentionally miss a Sunday. So we can either go back and forth over this tonight or we can table this until tomorrow.

Diane 7:01

You know, I'm just saying, I'm starting to feel like I really love you. And you don't want any commitment. I'm willing to accept that, but all I'm asking for is just one small piece of you. Just one small piece.

Everything went back to normal after that, and I made it over there five Sundays straight. During the week, I did my thing and even saw her if I had time. On Sunday number six, I was getting ready to head over to Iris, then it happened. Hey, Mom.

Mum 7:59

Geizer, please. Uh, your dad's been hurt at work. It's been an accident. Can you come to the hospital?

Gazza 8:05

Okay, mom, I'm on my way. Fuck. I can't believe this. My mind was going a million miles a minute. I had to get to the hospital with ASAP. On my way, I remembered I needed to call Iri to tell her I wouldn't be able to make it.

Diane 8:26

Hello?

Gazza 8:27

Hey, Iri. I'm not gonna be able to make it tonight, babe. My dad hurt himself at work, and I'm on the way to the hospital right now to see what's going on.

Diane 8:34

You don't say a damn lie. Why not lie so? I'm not as stupid as you look. Idiot is not stamp across my forehead. What do I see your father doing working on a Sunday? The only thing your father does on a Sunday is go to church. I know damn good well, he don't work on no Sunday. You two lies.

What are you talking about? Firstly, him owning his own business is the number one reason he is even there on a Sunday. But the point is he hurt himself, and right now I have no clue how bad.

Diane 9:03

You know what, Gaza? Screw you. You hear what my sister? Screw you. But don't tell you already. If it means one more Sunday, we're done. I can't have you being so flaky all the time. So guess what? We're done. C-O-N-E. Done.

Gazza 9:19

You know what? Good. Cause you know what? My uptown top ranking, top shelf material come from good stuff. So me knows and me deserve better.

We were definitely done, and she had the right to feel like she deserved better. I didn't care, and I still didn't care because my family comes first. And like I said before, I wasn't committed to anyone. I kept living my life, and within a couple of weeks, I got a call from this girl I used to date named Serena. She wanted to let me know she was moving back into town. Serena and I had a little thing in our younger days. And I was pretty interested in seeing if time was gonna give us another opportunity to see where things go. She invited me to a barbecue friend was hosted. When I arrived, she was the first thing I saw, looking as beautiful as ever. I walked right up to her.
