Gazza

What's going on with you, Serena? Long time no see.

Speaker 5

Gazza it is so good to see you.

Gazza

And you're looking better than ever.

Serena

You looking good too. What have you been doing?

Gazza

Nothing, just working. But tell me, what brings you back down here?

Serena

I miss my family, and I just wondered what would happen if I ran into some old friends.

Gazza

Well, it's good to know you'll be around.

Serena

Thank you. Can I fix your plate?

Gazza

See, this is why I missed you. You always knew how to take care of somebody.

Serena

Oh, I know how to take good care of you.

Gazza

That's all I needed to hear right there. I knew right then she was coming back home with me. I continued to enjoy the barbecue until it started wrapping up. Serena came over to me to tell me good night.

Serena

I just wanted to come over and say I had a good time with you today. I'm about to go now.

Gazza

Where do you think you're going?

Serena

Home.

Gazza

To my home?

Serena

I wasn't invited.

Gazza

Invitations aren't necessary. Look at your stuff and let's go.

Serena

Okay.

Gazza

The ride home was intense. She was rubbing my upper thigh and I was gripping the steering wheel real tight. The chemistry between us had definitely never left. When we got to my house, man, I can't even lie, I put it on her, and she arrived at her destination multiple times. Having a multi-agasmic partner is a true ego-building experience. Over the next few months, our relationship continued to grow stronger and stronger until too many things started me on second guess in the whole situation. For one, was her weed habit. She chiefed with the best of them, and watching her take those long-ass drags started to turn me off. But the real reason was her communication. When she got mad, she gave me the silent treatment for days. I wasn't with that shit. And if we were gonna be together, we definitely had to find a better way than this.

Serena

Gaza, you got some papers?

Gazza

I do. But don't you think you need to be taking it easy? Ain't you supposed to be looking for a job soon?

Serena

Whatever. I can get my cousins, P. I'm only smoking because you treat me like I'm your damn maid.

Gazza

Serena, first of all, I don't treat you like no damn maid. And you cleaning up all the time, you do that by your damn self. And it's definitely not my fault you're unemployed. Look, I don't mind holding this down because I would do the same whether you were here or not. But me going out all the time, as you put it, is exactly how I'm paying for the bills around here.

Serena

No, you have your job with your family. You don't have to do the club stuff.

Gazza

I gotta do what I gotta do, Serena, and you're not changing that. I'm making moves, so you're either moving with me or without me.

Serena

Whatever, Gazam. I'm going to bed.

Gazza

Yeah, she went to bed and then taught to me for damn near three days. That's some young ass shit. So now the blue should start talking to me again.

Serena

Hey, I wondered if you wanted to go to the movies this weekend.

Gazza

Oh, so so we're speaking now. I'm just tired of feeling judged. And I'm dead tired of the distrust. We aren't going to last long like this. And don't you think I hear you whispering on the phone at night and the quick lock of your phone when I walk in the room? Maybe some of the shit you're giving me is because of something you're hiding.

Serena

Oh, so you're gonna flip it back on me? That's fine. Be immature.

Gazza

I'm not the immature one here, Miss Silence.

Serena

You're right. You're the ignorant, deceitful, lying one here.

Gazza

The sad part about all of this is these arguments were constant. And though she had friends and family here, I felt like breaking up with her would put her in a bad situation. So I tried to stick it out with her for a little while longer.

Speaker 3

Is you gonna ride a die? Wait, I need a ride, a die. Hurry up, we gotta slide.

Speaker 1

Hey dad, what's up?

Dad

Gaza, let me tell you the strut. You need to stop fucking around.

Gazza

Dad, what are you talking about? I've been doing everything around here.

Speaker 1

No, you're spreading yourself too thin. You're doing all that club shit, then coming in here all tired. You know, I need you to focus.

Gazza

I am focused, and I could do both.

Dad

Gaza, listen to me. You can't be focused on so many things and expect there to be no drawbacks. That goes for women too. You need to take life more seriously.

Gazza

I'm taking it very seriously. I have Serena at the house, and we're trying to work on things.

Dad

That doesn't sound like she's the one for you. When it's the right one, you don't have to try. You'll know it.

Gazza

I know, but we've gotten this far, and I want to at least try to give it a fair shot. Plus, I just don't feel like being out there like how it was.

Dad

Well, figure that shit out and let me know if you're ready to put 100% in this business. Because I need you.

Gazza

Man, you know what? My dad was always trying to call me out on my shit. He was old school and really didn't believe in splitting time. Me? I had a lot of goals and the family business, it was just one of them. I felt I could dedicate myself to the business and anything else I wanted. We were gonna have to agree to disagree on that one. But when it came to women, he definitely didn't approve of how I moved. He met my mom when he was like 16, and that was the end of that story for him. It's not that I didn't want to settle down, I was just having a hard time finding that special someone. Serena, she was cool, but my dad was right. I was forcing it. You know what? I'm starting to think that maybe tonight will be the night that I end it and move on.

Serena

Come to the room for a minute.

Gazza

Okay, I'll be up in a second. I got something to talk to you about anyway.

Serena

Hey baby, I've been waiting on you to get home all day.

Gazza

Well, fuck me. What's going on here?

Serena

Well, we've been having such a hard time. I just wanted to remind you that there's something still good between us.

Gazza

Oh yeah, there's still some good between us. And you're looking good as hell right now.

Serena

Is that right?

Gazza

You know it. Now get on that bed.

Serena

Oh no, not this time. Tonight, I just want to serve you.

unknown

Settle down. We go another round.

Gazza

Shit.

Serena

You hard already?

Gazza

Hell yeah, I'm hard. And you ain't helping. But I must admit, you know what you're doing.

Serena

Oh, I definitely know what I'm doing.

Gazza

Oh yeah. You're just like that. Don't you stop. Don't you stop. Damn.

Serena

Oh, so what did you want to say to me?

Gazza

You know what? I don't even remember. But please don't stop.

Serena

Oh. Thought so.
