Did you know volunteering can be the secret weapon to career success? This episode of My Perfect Failure smashes the myth that volunteering is just about giving back (although that's awesome too). We chat with Tatyana, a master career pivoter, about how volunteering  unlocks a  world of opportunity and can boost our personal growth skills and mental health and much more.

In this episode, you'll learn:

  • How to turn rejections into stepping stones and develop the unstoppable mindset needed for career success.

  • Why mastering the art of asking is key to getting what you want (and how volunteering can help you hone this skill).

  • The scientific benefits of volunteering that go way beyond your resume (hint: it's good for your brain!).

  • Actionable tips on finding the perfect volunteer opportunity, even if you're aiming for a board-level position.

  • How volunteering can boost your leadership skills, network, and even develop valuable mentorship skills.

  • Plus, Tatyana reveals the 3 inspirational people she'd invite to a dream dinner party (and why!).

Ready to volunteer your way to a more fulfilling career? Tune in and get ready to take action!

P.S. We also explore some of the common misconceptions about volunteering and show you how it can actually be a strategic move for career advancement.

Bonus! Get the inside scoop on WorldChicago, an organization connecting international leaders with incredible exchange programs.
