Episode 11: Debi Kleiman

In this episode, I talk with Debi Kleiman. Debi is a world-class marketing expert, an entrepreneur's best friend, a talented author, a mom, and I am proud to say, also my personal friend.

Debi shares her story about growing up with a mother who set the standard for working mothers, attending Harvard Business School, raising kids while advancing and progressing in a career in marketing and entrepreneurship, and most recently, writing her first book First Pitch. You'll hear why I LOVED this book and why I strongly believe that anyone looking to improve their presentation skills should read it.

We also spend some time talking about how women and minorities are impacted and discriminated against in the start-up and funding environment and Debi shares some strategies for overcoming those challenges. There has never been a more important time for us to become aware of and confront our own implicit biases.
