Today on the Daru Strong Podcast we welcome John Hollier. John is the owner and mind behind all that is American Barbell Club. John served in the Army from 2008-2014 as an Infantryman with 1st Brigade, 101st Airborne Division. As a testament to his endless work ethic, he made the grade/rank of E-5/SGT in 29 months from the day he joined. During his time in the Army, he completed Airborne and Air Assault schools and earned a combat infantry badge in Afghanistan, 2010.  After being injured in Afghanistan, he spent a year at the Warrior Transition Unit recovering, until his eventual discharge. John is now a Wounded Warrior Project Alumni. He has also completed the Tactical Athlete Program developed by the Neuromuscular Research Lab at the University of Pittsburgh. He has trained over one hundred clients between powerlifting, tactical athlete training, and personal training.
