Peggy provides statistics to highlight how rural areas, specifically Iowa face a serious lack of mental health providers and resources. She also talks about stigma associated with getting help for mental health issues, and how Midwest values play a role in this. They also discuss how the landscape of mental health is changing due to more access to Telehealth options as a result of COVID-19.
